As a kind of continuous fermentation, the MBR fermentation is a new method for fermenting Probiotics that can increase cell by 10 times or more compared to the normal fermentation(STR), and also remove inhibitory substance like organic acids.

 

Through the MBR fermentation, the concentration of Probiotics is increased while inhibitory substances are relatively low. These Probiotics grown in such an environment have excellent acid tolerance, stability, and survival rates.

 

It is important for Probiotics to survive in stomach acid because stomach acid is very strong acid of pH 2~3. Probiotics manufactured with MBR technology has excellent acid tolerance.
